Aut Aut Architettura is an architectural practice founded in 2016 by four young professionals aiming to establish a platform open to multiple collaborations and contaminations inside and outside the discipline. Context understanding is the fundamental precondition in their approach, definable as strategic and devoted to a cultural production which aims to propel social enhancement. They believe that the architectural project, besides being an investigative and critical device able to condense and metabolize cultural contradictions, is a tool capable of catalyzing and propelling a certain discourse through the envisioning of new and even provocative spaces. The Rome-based office is projected on the international stage through collaborations, projects, competitions, publications and conferences, such as those at Moscow Urban Forum, London Festival of Architecture, and Milano Arch Week.
